How we cover Mudwater

Original metadata and artwork

We cover the Cards and Packs Solana collections linked by the official Mudwater site. Its third collection link is Totems, which is outside this index. Card names, rarity, finish and design number are compared against issuer metadata before publication. Eight reviewed alternate names (#84–91) link only after number, rarity, printed family and directional edges agree; the game name is shown alongside the collectible name. We archive original images with SHA-256 file hashes and link a metadata evidence record for every variant.

Market freshness

Market refreshes are triggered by OpenSea WebSocket events, with a one-minute polling fallback. Starts are spaced at least 30 seconds apart and publication follows a complete listing-book and sales check; upstream indexing and request delays still apply. Open pages check for updates every 15 seconds when visible and no form control is focused. Player tools use a compact market file and load history only for the selected finish; unchanged captures are not downloaded again. The complete inventory census runs separately, roughly every 30 minutes plus capture time, so it does not block market updates. Newly listed assets are fetched and joined to verified traits before publication. Cancelled or sold asks disappear on the next complete listing-book refresh. After 20 minutes without a successful market capture the browser withholds asks and shows an overdue notice. Capture timestamps always remain visible.

Sales history

Initial import paginates all available OpenSea sales before a fixed UTC cutoff. Fast updates overlap at least ten minutes; an hourly pass rechecks the prior 48 hours to catch delayed indexing. Existing receipts are always retained. WebSocket messages trigger reconciliation rather than supplying unverified prices, and disconnected streams recover with automatic resubscription. Exact duplicate receipts collapse by transaction, asset, timestamp, parties, quantity and payment. Historical zero-value and unusual receipts are not deleted. If exact-mint metadata is unavailable, the receipt stays in full history with a warning and transaction link, but is excluded from card/finish statistics until verified. We show provider-reported amounts and receipt links. Multi-item transactions are not apportioned by guesswork.

Listing purchases and accepted offers

Execution labels come from successful finalized Solana transactions, matched to the exact asset, buyer and seller. Current receipt-backed coverage is Magic Eden MMM Core only. Tensor instruction decoding is tested but has not been observed in this indexed sample; other marketplace routes remain unverified. Supported instructions distinguish listing purchases from accepted buy offers. Price, payment currency and log text alone never determine the label. Similar or newer programs with unverified layouts remain “Execution type unverified”. A separate background queue checks new and historical receipts without slowing listings; RPC delays can leave records unverified. Labels do not remove receipts or change their statistical eligibility. Accepted offers can be collection or pool bids, not necessarily offers on a single card.

Rarity is not a valuation

Issuer rarity and observed supply are separate. We publish asks and descriptive historical sale statistics, not appraisals. Thin trading, promotional distributions, same-party trades and unopened supply can distort a price sample. No Otherdeed coefficients, ETH floor multipliers or assumed pack expected values are applied here.

Collection scope

The issuer describes 120 designs, 10 cards per pack, 24 packs per box and 240,000 planned packs. Planned supply is distinct from indexed token inventory. Physical conversion, package combining and on-chain-card gameplay were announced features; their availability must be checked on the issuer’s site. This release covers cards and packs. A read-only Solana wallet checklist covers indexed cards and packs. Totems, boxes and cases are not included yet.
