Otherdeed & Koda Weekly — Resources, location and a 5.255 WETH sale

September 6–12, 2026 · with updates through September 13

Yuga gave holders a clearer picture of how the resource economy will work, Otherdeed trading accelerated, and the deed holding Resource Rank #1 changed hands. The new information also puts a practical question beside resource scarcity: how easily can players reach what a deed holds?

Yuga: gathering, crafting and travel come into focus

Otherside’s economy is being built around 74 onchain resources, with APE as the route for value moving into and out of the economy. Otherdeed environments, Kodas and Voyagers have central roles. Landowners will set harvesting fees; Kodas will provide gameplay benefits, while MegaKodas will offer blessings for tribute. Yuga’s announcement · Announcement coverage.

Community testing will begin on Yuga-owned deeds with a limited resource set. Resources may be reset during testing, but crafted items will be retained, including some items available only during that period. Starpods are expected to take flight this year. Yuga’s testing update.

The September 10 discussion described slow starting ships and travel outward from the central Nexus. My read: nearby resources could have an early advantage because shorter trips make them easier to access. Crafting better ships could then help open up the outer map. That is an economic hypothesis; fuel requirements, cargo limits, final recipes and replenishment rules still need detail. A testing reset does not establish a seasonal refresh schedule. Otherdeeds: buyers returned to listings

Mr. Deeds recorded 400 sales across 327 deeds, versus 101 sales across 88 deeds the previous week. Combined volume rose from 24.21 to 56.14 ETH-equivalent, an increase of approximately 132%.

The ETH median rose 20%, from 0.0750. The WETH median fell from approximately 0.0675. Activity increased on both sides, but the improvement in typical prices was on the ETH side.

Wednesday, September 9 accounted for 219 sales, including 156 ETH purchases—more than half the week’s transactions. The rebound coincided with Yuga’s announcement, although timing alone does not establish what motivated each buyer. WETH totals include negotiated transactions as well as ordinary accepted bids. The sales that stood out

  • Resource Rank #1: #18293 — 5.255 WETH. This negotiated collector sale on September 11 involved two Dimensional T3 deposits on an Acid T2 deed. It provides valuable evidence for the scarce end of the resource market; the two deposits still represent one transaction, not two independent comparable sales.
  • Club Island: #265 — 2.39 ETH. The September 8 sale followed a 2.01 WETH transaction the prior week.
  • Double Abyssia: #6371 — 0.65 ETH. Abyssia T2 and T1, plus Petrified T3, on an Obsidian T2 deed.
  • Koda-bearing land: #54795 — 1.35 ETH. The Jungle T5 deed carries Koda #6128, so the full purchase price cannot be attributed to its land and resources alone.
  • After the weekly cutoff: #23818 — 0.435 WETH. Sunday’s sale combined Brineslime T3 and T2. It is another useful observation for valuing multiple rare deposits and their individual tiers.

Kodas: a quieter trading week

Kodas recorded 25 sales across 24 Kodas, down from 35 sales. Combined volume declined approximately 25%, to 17.65 ETH-equivalent: 11 ETH purchases totaling 8.20 ETH and 14 WETH sales totaling 9.45 WETH.

The ETH median was 0.7063, versus 0.6746 the previous week; the WETH median was 0.5955, versus 0.6100. #1028 led at 1.0399 ETH, followed by #9120 at 0.9699 ETH. Fewer trades and a firmer ETH median describe the week better than a broad claim that Koda prices rose. Koda sales.

What’s new on Mr. Deeds

Proximity is now available for every deed: a linear 1–100 distance score, with lower numbers closer to Club Island’s center. Browse nearest or farthest first, use proximity as a secondary sort, narrow results with the slider, and combine proximity with Resource Rank in deed alerts. Maps now carry a yellow midpoint band at half the distance to the farthest mapped deed. Explore proximity.

Wallet analytics now go deeper, with sortable resource, artifact, environment and sediment inventories; tier breakdowns; total resource supply and ownership shares; and drill-downs to individual deeds. Club 74 identifies wallets holding all 74 resource types. Wallet deed cards also show listing prices and eligible gaps against estimates. Explore wallet holdings.

Rare-resource pricing has been updated. The Dimensional collector sale informed the scarce T3 pricing curve. The model also now explicitly values additional rare T2/T3 depth alongside a rare T3 and incorporates qualifying multi-rare sales into resource estimates. Proximity remains a separate location measure while the economic mechanics develop. Model changes.
